Priory’s Mission Statement As a Methodist Church we aim, in partnership with others wherever possible, to concentrate our prayer, resources and God-given gifts on this priority: To   proclaim   and   affirm   our   conviction   of   God's   love   as   revealed   in   Christ,   for   us and   for   all   the   world;   to   renew   confidence   in   God's   presence   through   His   Holy Spirit, enabling our action in the world and in the Church. This means:         * underpinning everything we do with God-centered worship and prayer         * caring for each other within the church         * serving the local community         * working for justice at home and abroad         * developing confidence to speak of God and faith in relevant ways         * encouraging fresh ways of being church         * nurturing a culture in which everybody is encouraged and equipped to grow           as a disciple of Christ
